The Antonio Dalle Nogare Foundation was established to promote contemporary art as a language for interpreting changes in society, as a tool for promoting interaction between art, architecture, innovation and artistic research and as a means of bringing an increasingly wider public closer to the contemporary.
Since the beginning of its activity, the Foundation decided to make a selection of these works available to the public promoting a daily coexistence with the artistic practice of contemporary masters.
The aim is to create a space that would be a place of conceptual, intellectual and aesthetic fruition, open to all interested parties. The collection’s display, housed in the two rooms on the first floor of the Foundation, is curated by the curator Eva Brioschi.
The Foundation’s actions are characterized by:
– its focus on future generations
– its continuous research
– its dynamic social and cultural context for the whole community
– its connections with international and local stakeholders
The Foundation operates in three ways:
– interaction with international and local artists
– experimentation through innovative exhibition projects, a public program and a specialized library.
– education through meetings and initiatives aimed at raising and broadening the awareness of contemporary art
The Antonio Dalle Nogare Foundation is easily accessible on foot, by bike, by car and on weekdays by public transport.
Antonio Dalle Nogare’s private collection was born in the mid-eighties. At the heart of the collection lies his passion for conceptual and minimal art, with works by the masters of the second half of the 20th century.

Antonio Dalle Nogare, founder and president of the Foundation, first became interested in contemporary art at the age of twenty. He is particularly drawn to the conceptual and minimal art of the 1960s and ‘70s which is largely represented in his collection, but is equally attracted to the world of young artists, on account of their highly contemporary, post-conceptual style.
As a place to share his passion for art, he starts the construction of the museum, a work of extraordinary architectural power, that opens in Bolzano in 2011. From the opening of the private museum until 2017, the space welcomes many artists to interact with its architecture, take inspiration, exchange ideas and formulate projects that culminate in the creation of different works of art.
It is with a spirit of greater openness towards the territory that Antonio Dalle Nogare decides, in 2018, to inaugurate the Foundation, under the artistic direction of the curator Vincenzo de Bellis. Thanks to the Foundation, the museum’s activities are implemented: production in support of young international artists, monographic exhibitions on the great protagonists of art, a multidisciplinary public program as well as an increasingly intense educational program.
