Bolzano Danza returns to the Antonio Dalle Nogare Foundation on Tuesday, July 28 at 6:30 PM with a new performance by art collective Industria Indipendente.
A visionary journey through words, the body, and the imagination: a performance that weaves together dance, sound, and writing to rewrite myths and open up new possibilities of meaning.
Industria Indipendente presents a site-specific project at the Antonio Dalle Nogare Foundation, created in collaboration with Annamaria Ajmone, with whom it has been working since 2019. At the center, a guiding figure: a Don Quixote of the future who does not fight but imagines, transforming reality. The work stems from a shared writing practice that begins with a reading of Miguel de Cervantes’ novel and its rewritings, particularly those by female authors who have expanded its meaning. From Kathy Acker to Monique Wittig, a constellation of references emerges that fuels an open structure, composed of episodes, images, and actions. The performance unfolds as an evolving narrative, without beginning or end, where different languages intertwine.

Preceding and following the performance is the screening of the video Dammi i brividi ma non per la paura (2025), featuring the voice of Silvia Calderoni, the first chapter of a broader exploration of the character of Don Quixote. A work that unites writing and vision in a suspended atmosphere, between transformation and imagination.
Guided tour at 5:15 PM in Italian and German.

Industria Indipendente
Industria Indipendente is an artistic collective that works across performance, music, writing, and the visual arts, founded by Erika Z. Galli and Martina Ruggeri. Their practice is rooted in language—an extended form of writing inscribed on bodies, in spaces, and on surfaces. It transforms into action and performance, liquefying and expanding through sound, voice, and light, dissolving the boundaries between self and other, between here and elsewhere.
