Saâdane Afif is a Berlin-based artist whose work, often marked by a subtle touch of humour, questions artistic authority and the role of art itself, among many other things. In The Fountain Archives (2008–ongoing), he transforms the circulation and reception of Marcel Duchamp’s Fountain into material for his own practice, exploring how an artwork’s is continually co-constructed through its reproduction, interpretation and cultural afterlife.

Luca Cerizza is an art curator and writer based in Turin. He is “curator at large” at the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin, where he is developing the Music of Fears project. In 2024, he curated the Italian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, presenting a project by Massimo Bartolini in collaboration with musicians Caterina Barbieri, Gavin Bryars, Yuri Bryars, and Kali Malone. He is the author of numerous monographs and critical essays and has been teaching Museology and Curatorial Studies at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan since 2006.
